Casara Andre, DVM, cVMA

Dr. Andre is a Colorado veterinarian and the founder of several local veterinary businesses.   Her business, Cultivate...Veterinary Wellbeing is one of the primary sponsors of the 2017 Cannabis in Veterinary Medicine Symposium.  Cultivate was created to provide veterinary practitioners with a place of community, shared growth and support. Providing a safe-haven for both veterinary patients and practitioners is Dr. Andre's day-to-day mission.

Dr. Andre is a 2009 graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.  While in veterinary school, she commissioned as an Army Veterinary Corps officer and has traveled the country providing veterinary services to military working dogs and their family pets.
Starting with the working dogs under her care as a military veterinarian, Dr. Andre has a special love for any "dog with a job".
She had the opportunity to serve as a trail veterinarian for the 2015 Iditarod Race and continues to work with working dog groups in Colorado.
Currently, Dr. Andre is the owner of Cultivate, a veterinary co-working community; Healthy at Home, a database of resources for pet parents; the owner of Scheduled Relief, a networking service connecting veterinary clinics and relief veterinarians; the Director of the Colorado School of Animal Massage; and the Founder of Veterinary Cannabis Education & Consulting.  She also serves as the Secretary for the Human Animal Bond Trust.

Outside the veterinary clinic, Dr. Andre enjoys social dancing of all styles (swing, Latin, country, etc.), snowboarding, trail running, and exploring the beautiful landscape of Colorado.  She cherishes her own three cats and works diligently to make her home as "hobbit-hole-like" as possible.
