Elyse Lombardi

Elyse Lombardi is a curious, enthusiastic, and energetic person by nature with a lifelong interest in helping others. She has six years of nonprofit development experience with a focus on donor solicitation & stewardship, program management, and event planning.

Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Elyse moved to Colorado in 2017 to grow her career in the nonprofit world…and also live near the mountains! She landed her dream job with Foothills Animal Shelter (FAS) as their Development Manager and has been a part of FAS team for three years and counting. This chapter of her life opened her eyes to her deep-rooted passion in animal welfare.

Soon to be serving as the Development Director for the Human Animal Bond Trust (HABT), Elyse is beyond excited to continue her connection with the pet-loving community while using her fundraising knowledge to enhance HABT’s mission in strengthening the human-pet bond.

Outside of her professional life, Elyse loves exploring the outdoors year-round – mostly through hiking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing. She also enjoys cooking and gardening, and is especially interested in indoor succulents.
